Case Study - Back to the Office Refurbishment

As staff prepare to return to the office, we refresh their 7th floor workspace

The Brief

To refresh the customer’s 7th-floor workspace, in preparation for their staff returning to the office after the pandemic.

The Journey

Gosh Projects worked with the customer to ensure their staff could return to the workplace, in a brighter and more inviting place to work. The customer wanted different areas throughout the building, with bright colours and soft furnishings for meeting and breakout areas.

We met with the customer, to discuss colour options on both furniture and seating, and discussed each room individually to ensure we could deliver the products they envisioned. We discussed items such as desks, lockers and coat cupboards and then moved on to the more exciting products that they were looking to introduce to the floor.

Bold colours & contemporary design

The colour scheme for this floor was teal, lime green and burnt orange, and we used the Camira Manhattan fabric range to achieve the look and feel we were hoping for.

We used the brightly coloured furnishings to brighten up each room, and we also fitted wall panels to bring the rooms together.

stylish and colourful comfort

In some of the meeting rooms, we supplied poseur height tables in anthracite MFC, with power and data built into the tables, along with a mix of orange and green high stools on wire frames.  In other areas, the customer wanted circular tables, again with power, this time through the stem of the table. All the chairs we supplied were chosen for maximum comfort and we added contrasting cushions to some of the soft seating.

We also provided some meeting booths, some suitable for 2 people and some for 6 people.  These were also supplied with contrasting colours to brighten the meeting areas along with sofas with built in power modules.

The finishing touches were the upholstered wall panels, the scatter cushions, rugs and the upholstered light shades on floor lamps.

The Result

A bright, welcoming and contemporary space that fits the client’s forward-thinking ethos.

Giving staff space to relax, converse, and recharge with fantastic, varied meeting zones has led to a productive and happy return to work.
