School Furniture & Refurbishment
Refresh classrooms, libraries, dining halls and staff areas over the summer break. We plan, supply and install across Essex, London and the UK, ready for the first day back.
Why summer is the time to do it
Term time has no room for a furniture project. The summer break does.

No disruption
Classrooms sit empty, so there's nothing to work around. No lessons interrupted, no kit stacked in a corner.

Installed in the holidays
We clear, prep and fit out across July and August, then take the packaging and old furniture away.

Ready for day one
Staff walk back into finished rooms. We plan the job backwards from your first day of term.
Summer capacity is limited and books up.
Start the conversation in spring or early summer to be sure of an install before September.
Spaces we refurbish for schools and colleges
From a single room to a full campus, we refresh the spaces where pupils and staff spend their days. Most projects combine a few of these areas into one summer programme.
Classrooms
New desks, chairs and storage that stand up to daily use, in sizes suited to the age group. Flexible layouts for group work, exam rows or quiet study, with furniture that's quick to reconfigure when the lesson changes.
Libraries and learning resource centres
Shelving, reading nooks, study tables and soft seating that make pupils want to spend time there. Practical layouts for browsing, research and independent study without feeling cramped.
Dining halls and canteens
Hard-wearing tables and seating built for high turnover at lunch, including folding and mobile options that clear the floor fast for assemblies or after-school use.
Staff rooms and offices
Comfortable, welcoming areas that support staff wellbeing, plus practical workstations, meeting tables and storage for admin and management teams.
Breakout and collaborative spaces
Soft seating, booths and informal zones for group work, one-to-ones and quiet time. The kind of flexible spaces that get used all day for very different things.
Reception and shared areas
A reception that makes the right first impression on parents, visitors and prospective families, with seating, signage-friendly layouts and durable finishes.

A complete service from survey to first day back
You don’t need to project-manage this yourself. We handle the whole job, from the first walk-round to the final chair in place, and keep it inside your holiday window.
It starts with a free site survey. We visit your school, measure up, and talk through what you want each space to do. From there our team puts together a layout, recommends furniture suited to an education setting, and gives you a clear quote with no surprises. Once you’re happy, we order, schedule delivery and install everything during the break, then clear away the packaging and any old furniture so the rooms are ready to use.
Because we manage delivery and installation ourselves, there’s one point of contact for the whole project. If a deadline is tight, we plan the work backwards from your first day of term so nothing is left to chance. As a SafeContractor approved company, we meet recognised standards for health and safety, which matters when you’re handing a building over and signing off on who’s been on site.
We also know school budgets don’t stretch forever. We’ll help you get the most from what you have, whether that means phasing a larger refresh across a couple of summers, mixing replacement with refurbishment, or pointing the spend where it makes the biggest difference to pupils and staff.
Furniture built for daily school use
Education furniture takes a beating. Hundreds of pupils, every day, for years. The pieces we supply are chosen for that, not for a domestic setting that looks good for a term and then gives way.
We work with manufacturers who meet our standards for durability, comfort and safety, so the desks, chairs, storage and soft seating we install are made to handle constant use. That means frames and surfaces that resist knocks and spills, seating sized correctly for different age groups, and finishes that still look smart after a few years of term-time wear.
A well-planned space does more than look better. Comfortable, properly sized furniture supports concentration and posture, flexible layouts make group work and quiet study easier to switch between, and a tidy, welcoming room sets the tone for how pupils treat it. Get the basics right and the space works harder for everyone in it.
